In ‘Buenos Aires’, Eva Calderone offers an intimate and touching exploration of her own sexuality. It’s a 15 minute erotic tale, where she shares a piece of her inner world with the audience. It tells the story of a very hot summer in Buenos Aires. Four months of sun, heat, sweat, little clothes, a world of fantasies and forbidden encounters that never materialized.
This is a political act, an act of resistance, of insistence, of affirmation. It’s Eva’s way to create a new reality, in which pleasure is not judged, it’s not labeled, but instead, it’s just absorbed in all its complexity.
