Oona, Jinte, and Grim are three interdisciplinary artists who are collaborating on the performance ‘Verstrikt’, which is inspired by textile work created from recycled fabric.

The textile performance will explore neurodiversity, which is depicted through a cycle of destruction. This cycle consists of two parts: the dark destruction (the performance) and the collective process of healing (healing workshops).
In the restoration workshops, we will physically repair the large textile piece using various handicraft techniques such as crocheting, knotting, etc. In each workshop, we will learn a technique that we’ll use to repair the parts that were damaged during the destruction (the performance). In the workshops, everyone becomes part of the cycle of destruction—and especially the collective restoration—which is why we place a central focus on connection and healing.
The workshops are open to everyone and are completely open-level. (No prior knowledge is required.)
We ask each participant to bring 3 pieces of fabric that you no longer use, such as sheets, T-shirts, curtains, socks, etc.
